Facebook HTTPS is enabled for enhancing user's security when browsing Facebook.
HTTPS is HTTP and SSL protocol combination, can be between the computer and Web server to encrypt communications. Example if a user access to network under Wi-Fi and using simple HTTP, hackers use Firesheep, a plug-in of Firefox to obtain data. With HTTPS its more difficult. It should be noted that once HTTPS is enabled, Facebook browsing may slow down due to encryption takes longer to load the page.
Steps to enable HTTPS:
1. Go to Account in the top right corner of your Facebook page
2. From the Account drop-down menu chose Account Settings
3. Scroll down and click on Account Security.
4. Tick Secure Browsing (https) and save it.
Although may slow down browsing speed, it's more safe and secure to your account.I highly recommend it to reduce the risk of being hacked. How about you? Do you think it is better?
